Writing & Projects

Longer-form work at the intersection of physics, ownership, and decision-making.

Book Projects

  • Skip the MBA, Own the Company (in active development) — a book about treating ownership as the goal rather than job titles. It focuses on how to think about corporate carve-outs, small acquisitions, and leverage in the lower middle market instead of chasing credentials.
  • The Lazy Universe (in active development) — a DFD book written for a general audience. It strips Density Field Dynamics down to the essential ideas, explains them in plain English, and shows why ordinary people should care about clocks, gravity, and what “the field” is actually saying about the universe.

Both projects are in active development; early readers and technical reviewers are always welcome.

Technical Series and Notes

Most technical material on Density Field Dynamics is hosted as preprints and supporting documents. The written work includes:

  • Foundational papers on ψ, the refractive index n = exp(ψ), and the acceleration law a = (c² / 2) · grad ψ.
  • Post-Newtonian mappings and comparisons to General Relativity test regimes.
  • Analyses of optical clock datasets and proposed clock, atom interferometry, and nuclear tests.

Applied and Business Writing

On the business side, my writing focuses on how to source, buy, and improve real companies rather than just model them.

  • Internal memoranda and case studies on corporate carve-outs and special situations.
  • Pieces on building proprietary sourcing systems for sponsors and independent sponsors.
  • Notes on decision-making under uncertainty, drawn from both physics and private equity work.

Public versions of selected material will be added here over time; for now, most of this work is shared directly with clients and collaborators.
